Western Wedding Theme
A cowboy and cowgirl in love might just want to giddy up and get hitched out
in the Wild West. So they need to have a western wedding theme. Lasso up
some action with some of these helpful wedding planning tips using some
items available at two of the largest online stores; Amazon.com with new and
used books and other merchandise, and eBay.com, the largest online auction
place of new and used items.
Wedding Favors, Decorations
Begin with a Western theme guest book and ring bearer horseshoe and
horseshoe for over the door for good luck. Then to kick into wedding planner
gear, grab a western theme wedding planner book to log everything in and for
follow up. Organization is the key to good planning for your event.
For a western look, toss around some bales of hay, lasso up some ropes to
hang on fence posts, maybe add a small petting zoo for children and host a
wagon ride around the place. And a lively country band would get people
kicking up their feet.
Get more into the western mode by using metal reproduction railroad lanterns
outdoors, and give them away as party favors afterwards. Cowboy hats for all
and ropes or pocket knives would also make great party favors.
Western Style and Good Eats
Brides and grooms alike may choose to wear cowboy boots. Good denim pants
and a long dress would go fine together. And add matching vests with south
western style embroidery on the pockets, matching scarves and hats to pair
two people up nicely, as well.
To feed a rowdy crowd of westerners, how about a beautiful wedding cake with
a western couple topper and western style candies like tiny cowboy hats and
critters. Feature a huge pot of chili and cold beers or western punch. And
check out some books to help and to give away as gifts:
